John Carroll Joins Hilton Head Office

 

HILTON HEAD, SC – John Carroll, a former staff attorney with the South Carolina Association of Realtors, has joined Nexsen Pruet’s Hilton Head office an associate with the Real Estate group.

Carroll has a diverse range of experience in handling issues involving construction, litigation, licensing, and regulation. Before joining Nexsen Pruet, he was an assistant disciplinary counsel for the S.C. Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation and he also served as S.C Governor Nikki Haley’s Director of Boards and Commissions.

At LLR, Carroll was responsible for prosecuting cases involving professional licensing violations. As State Director of Boards and Commissions he counseled the Governor’s office on constitutional appointment authority. He also served as staff attorney for the Governor’s Regulatory Review Task Force and as an assistant Richland County public defender.

Carroll earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
