Nick Tanana selected to Leadership Charleston

Nick Tanana, a commercial real estate agent with Avison Young’s Charleston office has been selected to participate in the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2017-2018 Leadership Charleston program.
Now in its 44th year, Leadership Charleston is a 10-month program offering an intensive and up-close look at the most challenging issues and opportunities facing the region. Leadership Charleston focuses on the areas of Education and workforce development, Government and politics, Economic Development and Military affairs, among others, to cultivate and ignite leaders in the advancement of the Charleston metro area.
Nick has been in commercial real estate since 2002, specializing in the leasing and management of commercial office and retail properties. Prior to relocating to Charleston, Nick was the Asset Manager for Triumph Development, a developer and owner in the Washington, DC metro area. As Asset Manager, Nick was responsible for all aspects of management and leasing for office and retail space as well as business development.
Nick graduated from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Nick is an avid fan of all Boston sports teams and grew up skiing in the Northeast but now prefers golf and warmer weather. Nick, his wife Jennifer, son Connor and yellow lab Spud live just outside of downtown Charleston.
