No Barriers Golf Tournament 2015 Set for August 24-25

WHAT: The No Barriers Outdoor Classic returns to Asheville, NC for a two-day event to raise funds for No Barriers USA, a nonprofit organization, whose mission statement is to “empower veterans and transitioning service members with disabilities as well as survivors of the fallen to break through barriers, find their inner purpose and contribute their very best to the world.”
The Cliffs at Walnut Cove will host the No Barriers Golf Tournament, which combines a golf tournament and keynote luncheon. Veteran and keynote speaker J.R. Martinez will attend this year’s luncheon. Martinez is a combat veteran who has used his personal injury and recovery story to inspire others during speaking engagements and his New York Times best-selling book “My Story of Survival, Strength, and Spirit.”
The Cliffs will host the cocktail reception at the Tavern at Walnut Cove on Monday, August 24. No Barriers Ambassadors, veterans, and wounded warriors will be in attendance at the Cocktail Reception.

WHERE: The Golf Tournament will be held at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove golf course, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus design course, followed by a BBQ Party on the Green located at The Tavern at Walnut Cove.
Monday night’s reception will be at The Tavern at Walnut Cove.

PRICE: Golf Classic Registration for a four-person team is available at a $1200 minimum donation and includes tickets to the keynote luncheon. Individual tickets to the cocktail reception and luncheon may be purchased for $75 and $100 minimum donation respectively.
