Nominations Open for KLCB Community Champion Award

Do you know someone who goes the extra mile to keep Laurens County clean, green, and beautiful? Now’s your chance to recognize them!
Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB) is currently accepting nominations for its quarterly Community Champion Award, which honors individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the local environment. Whether it’s through picking up litter, planting trees, educating others, or simply leading by example, KLCB wants to highlight the everyday heroes who make a lasting impact.
“Laurens County is full of people who care deeply about their community, and the Community Champion Award is a way to shine a light on those who inspire others to take action,” said Courtney Stonell, KLCB Affiliate Coordinator. “We encourage everyone to take a moment to nominate someone who is making a difference in keeping our county clean and beautiful.”
The award is open to all residents of Laurens County and is awarded quarterly. Nominations can be submitted online through April 4th via the following link:
