Nominations Open for SBA’s 2013 Small Business Awards

COLUMBIA, SC – November 14, 2012 – The Small BusinessAdministration’s South Carolina District Office is now acceptingnominations for the 2013 small business awards.
Major awards include:
- Small Business Person of the Year,
- South Carolina Small Exporter of the Year,
- South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year,
- South Carolina Family Business of the Year,
- South Carolina Minority Small Business Advocate of the Year,
- South Carolina Veteran Entrepreneurship Advocate of the Year, and
- South Carolina Women in Business Advocate of the Year.

Awardwinners will be announced around April 1, 2013. South Carolina awardwinners will be honored in Columbia later that spring during the Saluteto Small Business–the state’s annual Small Business Week event. Inaddition, the winner of the Small Business Person of the Year award willrepresent South Carolina at the SBA’s 2013 Small Business Weekcelebration in Washington, D.C.
