Non Profit Minute – Kris Lehne, Greenville County Foster Parent Association
December 8, 2020The Who’s on the Move, Non Profit Minute is a quick, two-minute interview in support of the amazing impact that local non profits have on our communities.
We would like to thank our sponsors of this video series:
Kris Lehne, President & CEO, Greenville County Foster Parent Association
The mission of the Greenville County Foster Parent Association (GCFPA) is to educate, support, advocate and bring awareness to the Greenville County foster care community.
The GCFPA works with local government, media, churches, charities and businesses to promote a positive image of foster care and increase the visibility of fostering in our communities. In collaboration with county, state and national foster parent associations, they advocate for appropriate services and support for foster parents.
Last year, with your support, the GCFPA provided gifts for 600 children. This year they anticipate more than 700 children will be in foster care in Greenville County alone. Because of COVID-19 concerns, their goal is to provide each Greenville County DSS Foster Child a gift card worth $100.
