We Are Sharing Hope SC (SHSC) is a nonprofit Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) serving the state of South Carolina. SHSC actively provides organ and tissue donor services to more than 80 hospital partners in the state. We Are Sharing Hope SC is one of 57 OPOs in the United States.

SHSC is responsible for professional education about donation within the hospitals, providing support to families throughout the donation process, and coordinating public outreach and educational efforts  throughout the state of South Carolina. When a pathway for donation is identified, SHSC becomes a vital connection between the donor, donor family, and those awaiting a second chance through the gift of life. Kristine Neal serves as We Are Sharing Hope’s Director of Communications. She oversees the Public Education/ Public Relations team, managing the strategic development of community outreach and public education programs throughout South Carolina, as well as caring for families after they leave the hospital.
