Nonprofit Association Hires New Staff

COLUMBIA, SC – December 11, 2009 – The SC Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO) has hired Glenice Saddler as the new Director of Membership and Resource Development.  Ms. Saddler’s duties at SCANPO will include membership development and retention, grant writing and corporate development. 

Glenice Saddler is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  Her professional experience spans more than 20 years, which includes working for a statewide nonprofit, a national nonprofit and three higher education institutions.  She has extensive experience in fundraising, grant writing and grants management, and holds several professional certifications in these areas. 

Saddler has a genuine concern to advance the capacity and sustainability of nonprofit organizations and is committed to SCANPO’s mission of serving, supporting and strengthening nonprofits for a better South Carolina.

“SCANPO’s Board took deliberate action to strengthen the organizational structure and incorporate a full-time director position dedicated to serving nonprofit members and promote the many benefits of SCANPO,” said Mason B. Hardy, SCANPO’s president.  “We are fortunate to have Glenice in this position, and we believe she will increase our capacity to serve the nonprofits of South Carolina.”
