Colony Development Partners Reveals Building ‘Facelift’ on Acquired Medical Office Building

COLUMBIA, SC and CHARLOTTE, NC – July 22, 2009 – Colony Development Partners, LLC, will host a reception for the tenants and owners of Northeast Medical Center located at 115 Blarney Drive in Columbia, SC on Thursday, July 30th in the building lobby to showcase the interior and exterior renovations recently completed by the new management. Available for-lease spaces within the building will also be open for tours.

The 2-story 43,000 square foot medical office building was acquired by Colony Development Partners from Palmetto Health Alliance in December 2008. Extensive renovations were then undertaken including updating the finishes of all interior common areas, installing new signage, new furnishings in the waiting areas and new artwork, replacing the landscaping, and installing a new canopy which allows for a covered drop-off area for patients. In addition, the parking lot was repaired and re-surfaced. Colony Builders, Inc. of Charlotte, NC was the general contractor on the project.

Property management services for Northeast Medical Center are now being handled by Colony Development Partners Property Management Division. “We feel the building’s improvements will assist the physicians and practices in providing quality care in the NE sector of Columbia”, says Betsy Good, Property Management Director.
