It’s hard to believe the annual Friends of the Georgetown Library Yuletide Home Tour happens this Saturday, December 13th, from 1 – 5 pm, featuring 11 beautiful residences in and around Georgetown’s Historic District decorated in holiday finery and open for visiting.
The tour also features two venerable houses of worship, Prince George Winyah Parish Church and Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church as well as four outstanding Georgetown museums: the Georgetown County Museum, the Gullah Museum, the South Carolina Maritime Museum, and the Kaminski House Museum.
It’s a fun day for a great cause: supporting the Georgetown Library. Tickets for the Tour are $25 per person and $20 for members of Friends groups of any of the Georgetown County libraries.
Tickets may be pre-purchased online at the Friends of the Georgetown Library website. Go to https://www.myfogl.org/our-events, scroll down to “Yuletide Home Tour,” and click on “More Information.”
Or you may pre-purchase them at any of the County Library branches: the Georgetown Library at 405 Cleland Street; the Andrews Library, 105 N Morgan Street; the Carvers Bay Library, 13048 Choppee Road; the Southern Georgetown County Library, 4187 Powell Road; and the Waccamaw Library, 41 St. Paul Place.
