NP Strategy expands into North Carolina

Leading the expansion are lawyer, Chris Kouri, and public relations professional, Erin Sanders. Both will provide communications and business strategy support to corporations, governmental entities and non-profit organizations in the Carolinas.

Kouri, a member of the Charlotte office of Nexsen Pruet, specializes in economic development, government relations and corporate law, and is sought after by clients for his experience in successfully navigating complex transactional matters and related negotiations. Kouri also served for six years as the General Counsel of the Charlotte Motor Speedway. A native of Charlotte, Kouri is a graduate of Yale University, where he was the captain of the football team, the University of North Carolina Law School, and Duke University, where he earned a Master of Public Policy. Kouri marries his business and legal abilities with his vast network of governmental, community and corporate contacts to help achieve the strategic goals of clients. Additionally, Kouri serves on the boards of the Charlotte Regional Partnership, the Yale Football Association and the North Carolina Motorsports Foundation.
Sanders is a seasoned integrated communications professional with more than 20 years of experience, including major-agency public relations and advertising practice with both the leading global communications firm of Burson-Marsteller in Washington, DC, and a super-regional agency in Columbia, SC.
Sanders has created award-winning and highly successful communications programs for clients across numerous industries, from energy and healthcare to manufacturing and entertainment. She has counseled executive leaders for clients such as Shell Oil Company, Nickelodeon TV, Safety-Kleen Corp., Michelin Tire Company, Accenture and Duke University Medical Center. In addition to crisis management, community and government relations, corporate communications and strategic branding, Sanders also brings to clients her experience in digital marketing and web site development as the co-founder of the successful national real estate marketing web site, LotNetwork.com.
