O’Dell Corporation Contributes $5,000 to Support Ware Shoals High School Student Council’s Christmas Is For Kids Campaign

Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the Ware Shoals School District, the O’Dell Corporation has contributed $5,000 to the Ware Shoals High School Student Council’s Christmas is for Kids (CIFK) Campaign.

For more than two decades, the Ware Shoals High School Student Council has successfully managed the CIFK Campaign, dedicated to meeting the needs of underprivileged children in the Ware Shoals community during the holiday season.

Building on a legacy that began in 2005, O’Dell Corporation has consistently championed this impactful initiative, contributing over $49,000 over the last 18 years. The corporation proudly reaffirms its commitment to sustaining assistance for the Ware Shoals High School Student Council as they passionately work to bring holiday cheer to the children of the community.

The CIFK Campaign successfully raises funds through various initiatives conducted throughout the school year. Notable projects include Powder Puff Football games among female students from each class, Buff Puff volleyball games among male students, and the highly anticipated “First Responders CIFK Game,” where local law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMT personnel engage in friendly competition with WSHS varsity female and male basketball players.

In the previous year, the campaign’s fundraising efforts enabled the provision of Christmas gifts for over 130 children in the school district. With an ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of the community, the Ware Shoals High School Student Council anticipates a continued demand this year and aspires to fulfill every application without having to decline any requests.
