Office of Business Opportunities to host outreach event

The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities is hosting a Subcontractor Outreach Event for the upcoming Canal Clearwell & High Service Pump Station Rooms 2 & 3 Improvements Project. This event will be held at the Canal Water Treatment Plant located at 300 Laurel Street on Thursday, April 20th at 3:30pm.
The City has set project requirements for subcontracting, local businesses, and Columbia Disadvantaged Businesses. The following subcontractor opportunities have been identified: Site Grading, Asphalt Paving, Electrical, Landscaping, Demolition, Hauling, Masonry, HVAC, Roofing, Painting, Rebar Placement, and Security Improvements.
Other opportunities may be identified as well. Please join us at this event to learn more about the project and the bidding process.
