Ogletree Deakins Deepens South Carolina Immigration Practice

Kerr, who is fluent in Japanese, will practice in Ogletree Deakins’ Immigration Practice Group. The firm’s Immigration Practice Group is the largest in South Carolina and provides a wide range of legal services for employers seeking temporary business visas and permanent residence on behalf of foreign national employees. In Kerr’s immigration practice, she develops appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees, assists with planning for the immigration impact of mergers and acquisitions, and provides guidance on I-9 compliance and related anti-discrimination provisions.

Kerr earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in political science from Princeton University.
