Ollie’s Outlet Opens in Laurens
September 27, 2025On Wednesday, September 24, the long-anticipated Ollie’s Outlet officially opened its doors in Laurens. The store has moved into the building formerly occupied by Badcock Furniture, bringing new life and energy to the site.
Ollie’s, known for its slogan “Good Stuff Cheap,” already operates locations in Easley, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Greenwood, and is part of a rapidly growing chain with stores across the East Coast. The company’s headquarters are in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The new Laurens location opened to a bustling crowd, with the parking lot full and checkout lines moving quickly thanks to a well-prepared staff.
The Buzz spoke with Cleve Murdock, District Team Leader overseeing the Easley, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Greenwood stores, who was on hand for the opening. Murdock said he was impressed with the enthusiasm from Laurens shoppers. “We are very satisfied with the new store, the employees, and the great response here in Laurens,” he told The Buzz.
With its arrival, Ollie’s Outlet not only fills a vacant retail space but also adds another shopping option for Laurens County residents, combining national recognition with local convenience.
