OOBE Hires Senior Executive from VELUX
May 12, 2011GREENVILLE, SC – May 12, 2011 – OOBE, Inc., one of the country’s leading brands of custom-designed uniforms, has hired Joe H. Patrick for the newly created position of Vice President of Operations. In this role, Patrick is responsible for managing all departments of the company, except design and sourcing, and maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of each.
Prior to joining OOBE, Patrick was National Product Marketing Manager at VELUX America, Inc., the market leader in the manufacturing of skylights and roof windows and part of the VELUX Group, one of the strongest global brand names in the building materials and home improvement sector. Patrick worked at VELUX for 15 years in a variety of sales and product management capacities, most recently heading the market side of the largest product development and launch in the company’s history. Most of his career at VELUX was spent in the United States but he worked one year in Copenhagen at the company’s international headquarters assisting in the strategic oversight and support of American, Japanese, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand sales companies.

Patrick has an MBA from Clemson University and graduated summa cum laude from Erskine College. He also is a graduate of Mannaz, formerly the Danish Leadership Institute, which he attended outside of Paris, and the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business Mid-Level Management Program. He currently serves as Vice Chair and is Chair-elect of the Erskine College & Seminary Board of Trustees.
