Orvin announces retirement from ReWa

GREENVILLE, SC – Since 1925, Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) has been committed to providing high quality wastewater treatment services to the Upstate of South Carolina.

After 22 years of service, Ray Orvin has informed the Board of Commissioners of his plans to retire as the Executive Director. The Board has formed a search committee to identify a new Executive Director and has retained Find Great People, LLC, a nationally recognized executive recruiting firm based in Greenville, S.C. to begin a national search.

ReWa is widely known and respected in the clean water industry and has received numerous local and national awards for its operating excellence and stewardship of the environment. ReWa is looking to find an Executive Director to continue this tradition.

ReWa’s goal is to promote a cleaner environment, and to protect the public health and water quality of the Upstate waterways, while providing and developing the necessary sewer infrastructure for the growing economy. ReWa serves more than 400,000 industrial, commercial and residential customers in Greenville County and parts of Anderson, Spartanburg, Pickens and Laurens Counties.
