What: The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities is hosting the ribbon cutting for Otani Nails on Monday, March 16, 2026 beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Otani Nails was created in 2007 and serves as a haven for self-care, providing services such as waterless pedicures, ombre color matching, permanent diamond placement and diabetic pedicures for senior citizens.
Yvette Hickson has been a nail technician for 30 years and spent the majority of that time as an independent nail technician. In addition to providing services, Ms. Hickson coaches small business owners and entrepreneurs on customer service, time management, branding, and marketing. Her passion is empowering small businesses in the beauty industry because she believes service changes lives, one provider at a time.
Otani Nails is located on 919 True Street, Suite W in Columbia. Their hours are Tuesday – Friday 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 4:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
