Over 225 attendees, 125 expungement applications received at the Pathways to Possibilities resource fair for career, expungement and pardon assistance, held July 31
August 6, 2025Spearheaded by Senator Tameika Isaac Devine, Richland County District One School Board Commissioner Aaron Bishop in conjunction with Path to Redemption and One Common Cause
Pathways to Possibilities, an effort to provide previously incarcerated individuals with a fresh start, was held on Thursday, July 31 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Eau Claire High School, 4800 Monticello Road. Attendees with prior criminal records received information about free expungement services, pardon applications, and job opportunities in the Midlands area.

Approximately 225 people attended the fair, with an estimated 125 expungement applications and 50 pardon applications received.
“We are thrilled about the incredible turnout of yesterday’s Pathways to Possibilities event and grateful to serve those who need a fresh start. So many individuals have taken steps toward a brighter future,” said Senator Tameika Isaac Devine, District 19. “The positive impact on our community is immeasurable, and I am proud to have spearheaded this pivotal event. We look forward to expanding this initiative and continuing this important work for next year’s event.”
Participating exhibitors included: SC Solicitor’s Office, 5th Circuit (Expungements, Bench Warrant Resolution, Family Court Child Support Arrearage), Path 2 Redemption, SC Works, SC Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services, Richland County Family Court, SC DSS, SC DHHS, Benedict College B.E.S.T. Lives Center, Richland One Adult Education, Richland County Voter Registration, SC DMV, Columbia Housing Authority, SC Vocational Rehab, Appleseed Legal Justice, Time Served, Richland County Public Defender, The Rainy Day Fund, Prisma Health and The COMET.
