Overwhelmed by love & support, D. Michael & Pam Wilson increase 211 challenge to $150K overall
December 2, 2021The D. Michael Wilson and Pam Wilson Trident United Way 211 $100K Challenge is off to such an amazing start it’s now being renamed! Generous donors topped the initial goal of $50,000 raised in less than 24 hours. The $50,000 is matched by the Wilsons dollar for dollar.
D. Michael and Pam Wilson helped with a phonebank on Tuesday. They were so moved by the massive support throughout the day, they have kindly offered an additional $25,000 in the hopes of now raising a total of $150,000 to support Trident United Way’s 211 Helpline.
“The leadership of D. Michael Wilson and Pam Wilson is astounding and has inspired so many generous supporters to contribute at a time when the needs in our community are also accelerating,” said Chloe Knight Tonney, Trident United Way President & CEO. “Philanthropy is a game-changer and knowing a lifeline like 211 is getting this extra boost is a credit to our community and leaders like D. Michael Wilson and Pam Wilson for leading this effort.”
