Palmetto Brothers Dispensary Almost Ready to Serve its First Pint

April 21, 2021

Palmetto Brothers Dispensary is looking forward to participating in their first annual Sip & Stroll. Brothers Wade and Wes Meetze are excited about introducing Palmetto Brothers to the public during this event.

Born in the Midlands, raised on the coast and with their adult lives spent in the Upstate, they are truly the Palmetto Brothers. Wes, a graduate of Charleston School of Law, has been active as the attorney for the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Laurens County. He has deep connections to the area. Wade, a Clemson graduate and local business owner, researched and came upon this great location in the heart of the Laurens historic city square.

This idea of opening a taproom of local craft beers and wines has been a dream of theirs for more than five years. The opportunity became a reality after meeting with city leaders. Support from the community and the city has been overwhelmingly positive.

“We look forward to sharing our love of craft beers with others, and in a family friendly atmosphere,” said Wade Meetze. “We are proud to be a part of the revitalization of the historic downtown Laurens Square.”

With Wade’s experience in construction and Wes’s knowledge of beverage laws, the opening of the Dispensary is way ahead of schedule. Events are currently being planned for the next few months and will be rolled out after the official opening.
