Palmetto Health Elects 2014 Board Officers

COLUMBIA, SC – The Palmetto Health board of directors elected the following officers: James E. “Rick” Wheeler, vice president of M-D MetalSource, chairman (pictured right); William L. “Freedie” Freeman III, vice president of sales at VOA Canada, vice chairman; Jerome “Jerry” D. Odom, Ph.D., retired executive director of University Foundations at the University of South Carolina, treasurer; and Jean E. Duke, financial consultant, secretary.
Palmetto Health’s new board members are Paul V. Fant, president and chief operating officer of Carolina Gas Transmission (a SCANA Company); and George S. King Jr., executive vice president of investment services at SCBT.
