Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced the election of 11 new partners in the firm’s Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina offices, the Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina and the Atlanta, Georgia offices effective January 1, 2016.

Walt A. Cartin practices in the area of health care law. He represents a diverse range of health care providers, including hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and a variety of outpatient facilities. Mr. Cartin regularly works with clients on business transactions, including commercial contract matters, mergers and acquisitions, and business formation.
Lawrence M. Hershon’s practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation and business disputes. He works with clients on matters involving construction and surety bond disputes, commercial contract disputes, financial services litigation, and general business disputes. He also works with clients on business transactions, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, leasing, and commercial contract matters.
