Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art announces Lee Minton Signature Series and student outreach programs
January 21, 2026This February, the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art (PIFMA) kicks off its annual Lee Minton Signature Series, a winter tribute to the festival’s founder. The 2026 lineup features three diverse one-night concerts that pair world-class entertainment with a mission-driven outreach program for Georgetown County students.
Performance Schedule:
- February 4: LP and the Vinyl – This San Diego-based quartet blends jazz, R&B, 80s/90s hits, and Brazilian rhythms into a high-energy, unique sonic experience.
- February 11: JazzReach – A nationally recognized non-profit dedicated to the “promotion, performance, and teaching of jazz,” JazzReach delivers a captivating show that pushes the boundaries of live jazz.
- February 25: Mary Mikels – A motivational artist with perfect pitch, Mikels bridges the gap between Broadway, opera, and contemporary Christian music, sharing a powerful story of overcoming physical challenges.
Bridging the Gap: Student Outreach

- Jazz History: Fourth and fifth graders district-wide will experience a multimedia presentation on the life of Miles Davis, presented by JazzReach, connecting music to 20th-century American history.
