Playoff Hopes Dim for Clinton Girls

A year ago, Clinton High School’s girls’ basketball team won the Region 3-3A and reached the third round of the state playoffs.
This year has gone south. The Red Devils’ 49-40 loss at Woodruff left them with only the longest of shots necessary even to make playoffs. 
Clinton (6-5, 4-4 region) has lost three games in a row.
