Polyplex Selects O’Neal for New Manufacturing Plant
November 16, 2011GREENVILLE, SC – November 16, 2011 – O’Neal, Inc., a Greenville-based integrated design and construction firm, announced that it was awarded a contract by Polyplex Corporation Ltd., an India-based manufacturer of high-performance plastic films, to design a new grassroots, thin-film polyester plant in Decatur, Ala. O’Neal will provide design and onsite program management services for the $187 million project.

Design and planning have already begun on the project, which is located in the Mallard-Fox Creek Industrial Park. The plant is expected to begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2012. The plant will likely run three shifts and will produce thin plastic films used primarily in the food packaging industry.
