Pontiac nurse named 2019-2020 Richland Two Nurse of the Year

Richland Two has named Jennifer Larck, school nurse at Pontiac Elementary School, the 2019-2020 Nurse of the Year.
Larck is a former emergency room nurse and joined the Pontiac team in 2015.
In her nomination of Larck, Pontiac principal Dr. Katie Barber noted the compassion, empathy and composure students and staff have come to expect in her care.
“Learning support staff rely on her insight and support because she has such excellent knowledge of our students and the impact their health concerns have on their academic success,” Barber said. “She is an integral member of the learning support team and goes above and beyond to meet each student’s individual needs.”
