Pope Flynn achieves Band 1 Banking & Finance ranking for South Carolina in Chambers and Partners USA 2025 Guide

• Joe Lucas and Gary Pope serving as bond counsel and disclosure counsel to Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority in connection with $94,180,000 of revenue bonds to implement its ongoing capital improvement program;
• Gary Pope and Matt Davis serving as bond counsel to Clemson University in connection with the issuance of $117,585,000 of Athletic Facilities Revenue Bonds to finance the Watt Family Performance and Wellness Center, the Jervey Renovations Project, Littlejohn Coliseum and the Swann Pavilion Project, and to refinance certain outstanding bonds;
• Bill Musser serving as bond counsel in connection with limited obligation bonds of $75,235,000 to finance renovations to the City of Myrtle Beach’s Convention Center and various improvements to its Arts & Innovation District;
• Gary Pope serving as bond counsel in connection with three series of revenue bonds totaling $71 million to replace the City of Aiken’s main water treatment plant;
• C.D. Rhodes serving as bond counsel and disclosure counsel to Metropolitan Sewer Subdistrict for $36,070,000 of revenue bonds to finance infrastructure following regional consolidation;
• Lawrence Flynn and Gary Pope serving as bond counsel and disclosure counsel to Laurens County in the financing of renovations and improvements to the County’s historic courthouse and Hillcrest Complex East, which includes emergency medical services (EMS) facilities, public safety facilities, graphical information system (GIS) facilities, coroner facilities, and other County administrative facilities.
