Presbyterian College Publishes Two Creative Nonfiction Essays

CLINTON, SC – May 11, 2012 – Dr. Terry Barr, professor of English atPresbyterian College has recently had two creative nonfiction essaysaccepted for publication.

The first essay, In the Evening Sky,has just been published by moonShine review, a literary magazine basedin Charlotte, North Carolina. The second essay, Wrestling with Jews,has been accepted and will appear online next month in The Steel ToeReview, a magazine based in Birmingham, Alabama.“It’s very gratifying tohave my writing published,” said Barr. In addition to having theseselections published, Dr. Barr recently attended the Popular CultureAssociation of America’s annual meeting in Boston, where he read anothernonfiction essay entitled “Star-Crossed.” Barr also chaired the sessionon nonfiction writing.
