Coan adds financial skills to the executive team
GREENVILLE, SC – Priority One Security, a privately owned and operated security integration company serving North and South Carolina, is pleased to announce the hiring of John Coan as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Coan joins the Priority One leadership team, bringing more than 30 years of accounting and financial expertise to his role. Prior to joining Priority One, Coan helped form Trammell & Coan, CPAs, a boutique CPA firm specializing in the construction industry.

John Coan earned his undergraduate degree from Wofford College in biology before pursuing a Masters of Accountancy at The University of South Carolina. Prior to working as a tax partner at Trammel & Coan for 12 years, Coan passed the CPA exam while working at Milliken and Company. Through these roles, Coan has gained extensive experience in industries that include textiles, construction, nonprofit organizations and public accounting.
“Through my expertise in financial and organizational matters, I am eager to help the team at Priority One Security maintain and improve their emphasis on quality, customer service and smart growth,” Coan said.
Coan and his wife, Betty, live in Reidville, S.C., and have two sons, Bryan and Michael, who live in the Spartanburg area.
