Progress on the Taproom Coming to Clinton

It’s just been a few weeks since the BUZZ broke the story of the new taproom coming to Clinton. The City of Clinton Economic Development recently sold the DE Tribble buildings located on Gary Street to Charlie and Stacey Michaels.
With an anticipated opening of Spring 2022 the new owners are getting started.
Keeping with the history of the buildings, the taproom will be called The Lumber Yard.
“We have always appreciated the history of the buildings, so we think the name is very fitting,” said Charlie Michaels. “We have a good starting point with the team we have assembled and are very excited to see the project move forward.”
The new owners have met with a general contractor and will be meeting with preservation experts this week. The dilapidated roof over what used to be the oil change building should be removed in the next month. The cleanup of the building and property will also start in the next few weeks.
