Raiders Impressive Against Emerald

The Laurens boys’ basketball team control with nine 3-pointers in the first half and defeated Emerald 53-45 on Monday night at LDHS.
J.Q. Fair led a balanced attack with 13 points, hitting four of the 3-pointers himself.

Head coach Joshua Chavis said his team’s 17-4 run against the Vikings in the second quarter was its best stretch of the season.

Laurens (2-5) now seeks to build on its moment with games later this week against Woodruff and Emerald again.
