September 19, 2023

Rebuild Upstate, a local nonprofit dedicated to preserving safe and affordable housing for individuals and families in need, is launching a new fundraising event aimed at home preservation and critical home repair.

A Toast To Home promises an evening filled with celebration, connection and philanthropy, all while contributing to the noble cause of preserving the homes of low-income families of the Upstate.

The silent auction and live auction event will take place, Friday, December 8 from 6 pm to 9 pm at The Annex at Judson Mill, 701 Easley Bridge Road. Individual tickets are $75 and can be purchased by visiting the following link: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/atoasttohome2023. Early access to silent auction items will begin Monday, November 27 at the link listed above. Guests have the option to host a table of eight for $750.

Guests of the event can also enjoy culinary delights from Smoke On The Water and Liquid Catering, and networking with community members and local businesses who share a passion for affordable housing.

Rebuild Upstate CEO Jake Beaty states: “We invite the community to join us in celebrating Rebuild Upstate’s success in keeping hundreds of Upstate families safe in their homes. This event is an opportunity to learn more about the importance of critical home repairs and have some fun at the same time.”

Rebuild Upstate is committed to keeping low-income homeowners safe and living in dignity with home repairs and accessibility improvements in existing houses and neighborhoods. Home repairs can range from small plumbing fixes to roof and floor replacements. Accessibility improvements range from installing grab bars and railings for vulnerable populations to building wheelchair ramps for those with disabilities.

Tickets for A Toast To Home are available now at https://secure.qgiv.com/event/atoasttohome2023/. Whether you choose a single admission ticket or decide to sponsor a table, your contribution will help bring Rebuild Upstate one step closer to creating a world where everyone has a place to call home.

This event is sponsored by Southern First Bank, Furman Capital Advisors, ServPro of West Greenville & Anderson Counties, United Bank, Gallagher, Finnern Consulting and Pool & Spa Connection.
