Red Rose Festival Photography Contest – 2019 call to artists

Red Rose Festival Photography Contest & Exhibition sponsored by the Lancaster County Council of the Arts will take part with the annual Red Rose Festival on May 19/20, 2017 downtown Lancaster. Open to all ages, participants are asked to submit one 8 x 10 color or black/white photograph focusing on what you see as “the heart of the community in Lancaster County”. There is no entry fee. This is a juried competition and there are cash awards: $150 for first place, $100 for second and $50 for third. In addition, an Honorable Mention photograph is named. Exhibition will be on display in the Springs House galleries during May.
All submissions are due by 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2017 to the Lancaster County Council of the Arts, 201 West Gay Street, Lancaster, SC.
