Redemption After Incarceration Symposium and Job Fair Set for April 14

South Carolina continues to lead the nation with the lowest recidivism rate, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections—an achievement that reflects more than policy. It reflects people, partnerships, and a shared commitment to second chances.
That commitment will be on display at the upcoming Redemption After Incarceration Symposium and Job Fair, hosted in partnership with Path2Redemption. The event is scheduled for April 14, 2026, at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History.
The day will begin with a symposium from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Job and Resource Fair from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., bringing together career seekers, employers, community leaders, and advocates focused on strengthening South Carolina’s reentry workforce.
