Registration now open for Coker College Summer Theatre Camps
April 25, 2016The “Disney’s Sleeping Beauty KIDS” camp, for students ages 6 to 12, will be held Monday through Friday, June 13-24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.Based on one of the most treasured Disney animated films of all time, and featuring some of the world’s most memorable songs, “Disney’s Sleeping Beauty KIDS” is pure, delightful fun. Campers will present a staged production on Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24.
The “Disney’s Mulan Jr.” camp, for students ages 13 and up, will be held Monday through Friday, July 11-22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Based on Disney’s Oscar-nominated film, “Disney’s Mulan Jr.” is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and the fighting spirit. Campers will present a staged production on Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22.
Coker’s summer theatre camps provide instruction in a broad spectrum of theatre subjects through participation in games, music, dance and rehearsals. No prior theatre experience or auditions are required. Tuition is $200 for each camp, and campers who wish to perform in the production must attend both weeks of camp.
