Renewable Water Resources recognizes industries for compliance excellency

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) honored 45 local companies for demonstrating excellent in compliance with environmental regulation at its 24th Annual Compliance Excellency Awards Banquet this month.

The Compliance Excellency Awards are presented to local companies that are in compliance with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulation, said Joel Jones, Pretreatment Manager at ReWa. Plaques are given to companies with complete compliance for the year, which means they had no violations of their permit, and certificates are given to companies with no more than one violation within that year.
