Starting on August 31st, the Laurens Farmers Market on the Square is set to receive a fresh boost, thanks to a collaborative effort between Main Street Laurens and two popular local businesses, Designs by D and Perfectly Imperfect Vintage & Decor. The revival aims to not only increase the number of participants and customers but also expand the market’s footprint to include a broader range of vendors, creating a vibrant hub for the community.

Diane Smith, owner of Designs by D, and Dawn Miles, owner of Perfectly Imperfect Vintage & Decor, are both enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring new life to the Farmers Market. “We’re really hoping to increase actual traffic for our downtown businesses,” said Miles. “Both Diane and I will be open earlier hours on these upcoming Saturdays to support the market and encourage more visitors to explore everything downtown Laurens has to offer.”

The cost for new artisans and farmers to join the market remains affordable at just $10 for a 10×10 space, making it an accessible option for a variety of vendors.
