ReWa kicks off social media campaign
July 16, 2015GREENVILLE, SC – Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) is giving away free gear in return for “Be Freshwater Friendly” actions.
In celebration of their seven Be Freshwater Friendly initiatives, ReWa has kicked off a seven week long social media giveaway.
The giveaway will take place for the next seven weeks on the campaign Facebook page. For eligibility, participants must share a contest post from the “Be Freshwater Friendly” Facebook page and also submit their own photo of a “Be Freshwater Friendly” action.
The Be Freshwater Friendly campaign is intended to help educate the local community on how making small changes to our da-to-day actions can have a great impact on our rivers, lakes and streams. Being friendly to freshwater sources will protect aquatic wildlife, provide clean water for drinking and recreational use, and preserve our watershed for the long-term. The seven separate intiatives include Curb Control, Yard Savvy, Potty Protocol, Label Wise, Pipe Patrol, Poop Etiquette and Septic Smarts.
Winners will be chosen by Renewable Water Resources staff. Prizes will be available by mail or pickup at the ReWa office building at 561 Mauldin Road in Greenville.
