Rhodes joins Callison Tighe as an associate

COLUMBIA, SC – Janet E. Rhodes, an experienced employment lawyer who has represented clients in a range of state and federal issues, has joined Callison Tighe & Robinson, LCC, as an associate.
Rhodes has practiced in Columbia for almost five years, handling cases ranging from family and medical leave rights to disability and discrimination cases.
A graduate of the Charleston School of Law, she served a clerkship with Hon. J. Ernest Kinard, Fifth Circuit Court, after earning her juris doctor.
Rhodes graduated magna cum laude from Wofford College, where she earned MVP honors and set school records that stand to this day in javelin. She’s a native of Ninety Six, South Carolina.
Rhodes was recently elected chair of the EEO Committee of the South Carolina Bar’s Employment and Labor Law Section. She is active in the Greater Columbia Jaycees, serving on the board of directors from 2010-13.
Her practice at Callison Tighe will focus on employment law, including discrimination, FMLA, ADA, equal pay and wage and hour.
