Ribbon-Cutting Event Celebrates Grand Opening of Park Central
November 3, 2007COLUMBIA, SC – November 2, 2007 – NAI Avant, Columbia Nephrology and Miller-Valentine recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of Park Central.
“With the grand opening of the park, we are pleased to announce that six of the eight total sites are already sold or under contract,” said NAI Avant President Todd Avant.
Columbia Nephrology joined in the celebration with the grand opening of its 32,000-square-foot medical office building in the park.
Also present was Miller-Valentine, in partnership with NAI Avant, announced that they will be the lead developer on a 38,000-square-foot medical office condominium building to be developed in the park. An elevation drawing for this new Class-A facility was on display at the opening.
Located on Sunset Drive near Highway 277, Park Central is a master-planned, professional medical park strategically positioned near the Palmetto Health Richland Campus, the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Columbia’s central business district.
The park was developed by NAI Avant and offers approximately 16 acres of individual sites for sale with a primary focus on medical and professional uses. The balance of the property is comprised of approximately eight acres of reserved green space with mature hardwoods, which adds to the park-like feel.
