Ribbon Cutting for New Evidence Facility for the Sheriff’s Office Set for May 11

Sheriff Reynolds and the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office would like to invite you to the ribbon cutting of our new Evidence Facility, located on Templeton Road. The completion of this facility marks a special moment for this office and Laurens County as a whole.
“Our former location for storing evidence has deteriorated. In addition to that, state standard and procedures are constantly evolving,” said Sheriff Don Reynolds. “This was an urgent necessity. It is necessary to meet state requirements as well as provide a secure location for evidence, so this new facility is certainly welcomed. We now have a safe and efficient working environment for our evidence custodians.”
The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony to be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 11. The facility is located at 150 Templeton Road in Laurens.
