Richland One announces pre-K registration for 2017-2018 school year

Starting March 1, families can begin registering their four-year-olds for Richland One’s 2017-2018 pre-kindergarten programs. Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2017, and parents must reside within the Richland One school zones.

There are four easy steps in the registration process:

 

  1. Attend a parent information meeting and sign up for a screening appointment. Parents may attend any of the nine information meetings.

  1. Starting March 1, register online through InfoSnap on the district’s website: richlandone.org. The online registration form can be completed using a computer, tablet or smartphone. If parents do not have access to a computer, they can go to the Department of Early Childhood Education located at the Waverley Administration Center, 1225 Oak Street, where staff will assist them with registering online.

 

  1. Before the child’s screening appointment, provide copies of the following registration documents to the Richland One Department of Early Childhood Education:
  2.     a)  Child’s long-form birth certificate
  3.    b)  Child’s current DHEC immunization form
  4.   c)  Proof of income (both parents’ pay stubs or child’s current Medicaid card)
  5.     d)  Current signed lease or mortgage statement and current utility bill (both

documents must have parent(s) name(s) or an approved Shared Household

Document)

 

  1. Bring the child to the scheduled screening appointment. A parent interview and a document review will be completed at that time.
