Riggs Partners and Trio Solutions announce 2016 CreateAthon dates

Nonprofits encouraged to apply now to be considered for free marketing services

Riggs Partners in Columbia and Trio Solutions in Charleston will hold their annual CreateAthon events for South Carolina-based nonprofits on October 20-21, 2016. CreateAthon is a 24-hour marathon during which professionals and students in the communication arts deliver marketing services to nonprofit organizations on a pro bono basis.

Riggs Partners, which founded CreateAthon in 1998, will accept applications from nonprofit organizations in the Upstate and Midlands of South Carolina. Nonprofits may submit applications to Riggs Partners at www.riggs-createathon.com from now until July 15. Nonprofits selected for participation will be notified in August.

Trio Solutions, which will hold its tenth annual CreateAthon this fall, will accept applications from Lowcountry nonprofits athttp://trio-solutions.com/createathon/ beginning July 8, 2016. Applications are due August 19, 2016.

Riggs Partners founded CreateAthon in 1998 as an innovative way to provide pro bono services to nonprofits. The program has achieved significant impact since its national launch in 2002, attracting more than 101 agencies, universities, professional organizations and corporate marketing departments throughout the world as CreateAthon partners. In total, the program has served more than 1,600 nonprofit organizations with pro bono marketing projects valued at more than $24 million.
