Rip Russell joins Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate

COLUMBIA, SC – Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate is pleased to announce the hiring of Rip Russell as Vice President of Strategic Planning. Russell, the son of legendary real estate businessman Bob Russell, has joined his father’s company this month in official capacity. Russell’s focus will be creating the vision for Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate’s future plans in South Carolina. After celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary this year, Russell & Jeffcoat continues to be the number one real estate company in the Midlands and will be striving to increase its market share for years to come.

Russell, a native of Columbia and graduate of Spring Valley High School received his B.A. in Telecommunications from Indiana University. After reaching the level of Vice President with NationsBank, Russell moved to Los Angeles to embark on a career in motion picture production finance. During his 20 plus years working in the entertainment business, Russell earned film credits on numerous major motion pictures as Production Accountant. His career in the motion picture industry consisted of managing domestic and international film production finance, accounting & cost reporting on locations in Asia, Africa, The West Indies, Latin America as well as many US States while implementing various US state tax incentives for these projects.
