River Bluff Head Football Coach Blair Hardin announces resignation
February 6, 2025River Bluff High School announces that Blair Hardin has officially resigned as head coach of the River Bluff football team, effective 2/6/25.
Coach Hardin stated that after nearly two decades of being a head football coach, the last eight of which have been at the helm of River Bluff’s program, he made the incredibly difficult decision to step down from coaching football to spend more time with his wife and three young girls.
An integral part of the River Bluff athletics community, Coach Hardin has demonstrated leadership, dedication, and commitment to student-athlete success. Under his guidance, the program has grown both on and off the field, exhibiting the values of hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship that he instilled in his players.
The school will immediately begin the search for the next head football coach. River Bluff remains committed to maintaining a strong and competitive football program, and appreciates the support of the Lexington community during this transition.
