River Bluff High School welcomes Britt Collins as assistant principal
February 26, 2025River Bluff High School announced the appointment of Britt Collins as an assistant principal, effective late May 2025. Collins will step into this role following the promotion of Howard S. “Tradd” Denny to Coordinator of Student Administration for Lexington County School District One.
Collins, a familiar and well-respected member of the River Bluff community, began her career in education as an English teacher. She spent five years in the classroom at River Bluff before transitioning into the role of Instructional Coach, where she played a key role in supporting teachers and enhancing curriculum development. For the past three years, she has served as the school’s Student Activities Coach, fostering student engagement and leadership opportunities.
A proud University of South Carolina graduate—despite raising Clemson fans—Collins has deep roots in Lexington County. She and her husband, Jeff, have three children who are graduates of Lexington One schools. Her passion for education and commitment to serving the community that shaped her make this transition a natural and exciting step forward.
