Riverstar International Appoints Netherlands Distributor of Snoozer Pet Products

COLUMBIA, SC – Riverstar International, an export management company for US manufacturers, has appointed ZooZel as the exclusive Netherlands distributor of Piedmont, South Carolina-based Snoozer Pet Products.

Snoozer Pet Products, founded in 1985, is a multi-million dollar manufacturer of premium dog beds and pet accessories. Earlier this year, Snoozer Pet Products partnered with Riverstar International to manage and grow its international sales. This partnership allowed Snoozer to focus on growing its domestic business, a major rebranding, and moving into a new 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, while Riverstar focused exclusively on developing European markets.

Snoozer’s Vice President of Marketing, Gary O’Donnell, states, “We are very excited to expand into the Netherlands with ZooZel and to reach new customers abroad. ZooZel, an importer and distributor of premium pet products in the Netherlands, was particularly impressed by the quality and innovation of Snoozer’s products, especially the patented Cozy Cave beds. “With 2.2 million dogs and 1,800 pet stores in the Netherlands, we wanted to find a range of products that stood out from the rest,” says ZooZel founder Mascha ten Haaf-Timmer. “We have had an immediate and terrific response from the Dutch and Belgium markets to Snoozer’s products.”
