Robert Green joins Smith Moore Leatherwood

GREENVILLE, SC – Smith Moore Leatherwood is pleased to announce the addition of Robert Green to the firm’s transportation practice in the Greenville office.

Green’s practice will be primarily focused on transportation litigation, as well as regulatory compliance and commercial litigation. His experience includes defending clients on a broad variety of matters including employment claims, contractual agreements, real property disputes, regulatory investigations, products liability, software license and transportation accidents.

Earlier in his career, Green served for five years in the United States Air Force, Judge Advocate General Corps. During that time he gained litigation and transactional experience, which included advising senior management on employment law issues and litigating a number of cases to verdict in federal court. He was ranked as a top junior attorney and in the top 10 percent of junior officers at Shaw Air Force Base.

Green received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, his master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Greenville Bar Association, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association and Greenville PULSE (Young Professionals). He is involved in the Greenville Kiwanis Club and the Greenville Downtown Symphony Club.
