Rocking R International, Inc. Announces Plans to Locate Corporate Offices in McCormick County

Investment expected to bring 85 new jobs to the area
COLUMBIA, SC – November 11, 2008 – The Central SC Alliance and McCormick County today announced that Rocking R International, Inc. will relocate from Georgia to an existing facility in McCormick. The investment exceeds one million dollars and is expected to bring 85 new jobs. The company has acquired a building at 4042 Hwy 378 West in McCormick County. Renovations are currently underway with planned completion in early 2009. This new location will serve as the hub from which Rocking “R” International, Inc. and Standoff Studios will operate their growing business.
Rocking R’s relocation to McCormick County is more than a one million dollar investment in facilities and equipment by the company. Rocking R President Greg Ruddell is quick to point out that this move to South Carolina would not have been possible without the hard work and cooperation of McCormick County’s Bernie Hamby and George Woodsby as well as the people at Western Carolina Telephone.
Planned market expansion in 2009 will create additional jobs for computer savvy individuals with experience in Direct Sales, Dispatch and Accounting within Rocking R. Standoff Studios will share a portion of the new corporate building in McCormick with state of the art editing facilities with a slate of new shows and movies planned that are all filmed exclusively in High Definition.
Standoff Studios is best known for their series production “The Catch, Costa Rica” which has become a huge hit on the Outdoor Channel. “The Catch” can be seen at 7 AM and 10PM Fridays and again at 7:30 AM Sundays on the Outdoor Channel.
